FROM THE OFFICE
“Children are our greatest treasure. They are our future.” – Nelson Mandela.
Our children are our future and they represent our beautiful rainbow nation. The South African national flag is the only six-coloured national flag in the world. The design and colours are intended to represent all the diverse segments of the population by uniting them as one. Therefore, to celebrate Heritage Day, we would like the children to dress in casual clothes representing one of the colours of our national flag on Thursday, 23 September. As the weather is so delightful, we will also have a picnic during the morning. Please pack some picnic food, a picnic blanket, sunblock and a hat. We look forward to ending off the term on a well-deserved high note by celebrating with our beautiful rainbow nation’s children.
“There are words in the soul of a new-born baby, waiting and wanting to be written.” Our hearty congratulations go out to Mr and Mrs Ronald Brameld on the birth of their precious baby boy; and to Mr and Mrs Marinus du Plessis on the birth of their precious baby girl.
