FROM THE OFFICE
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is a challenge to stay positive every day and to accept life as is. Although life is unpredictable at present, it remains filled with blessings. Winston Churchill said: “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” Our attitude is one of our most precious possessions at present. A grateful, positive attitude and a healthy sense of humour can make our dreams come true. Be gentle and kind towards yourself and others.
We continue to pray that our learners, our parents and staff will be healthy and safe during this time.

COVID-19
Please note that the school’s isolation and quarantine periods are applied according to the guidelines of the NICD (National Institute of Communicable Diseases) and the Department of Health.
• Any person who has had high-risk contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 should be quarantined for ten (10) days (from the last day of contact), even if you do not develop any symptoms.
• Should symptoms develop and a person then tests positive him/herself, the person must go into self-isolation for at least ten (10) days from the day of the positive test result. The rest of the household then quarantines again for a further ten (10) days (from family member's positive test result date).
• Self-isolation is at least ten (10) days, depending on how severely ill the person is.

FORGOTTEN ITEMS
We request that parents ensure that learners pack everything they need for the day so that it is not necessary for learners to contact parents for forgotten items such as food, sports bags, projects, etc. The influx of people to the office and delivery of these items interfere with our compliance of COVID-19 protocols. Please help us to keep your child/ren safe.
