FROM THE OFFICE
This week we sadly bid farewell to Mrs Anna-Magriet Zimmerman in the Afrikaans Department. We wish her and her family all the very best with their relocation and her new position.
Congratulations to Mrs Valmé Strydom who will take over the reins from Mrs Zimmerman. We would also like to welcome Ms Franel Coetzee as an assistant in the Foundation Phase.
Sport and culture provide our learners with the opportunity to express themselves in something they enjoy that develops them at the same time, while they learn important life lessons including mutual respect, how to process disappointments and solve problems. This combats depression and anxiety, promotes learners’ coordination, creativity, critical thinking, adaptability and balance. Extra-curricular programmes offer physical, emotional and mental benefits needed by everyone to lead a healthy and balanced life.
More information regarding school sport and cultural activities to follow later in the newsletter.
We would like to wish each Midstream College family a blessed week. Please stay safe.
