Welcome back to the second term of 2021. A special welcome to all our new learners. This term marks the beginning of new adventures, new challenges and new friends.  We trust that you'll experience great happiness and will build wonderful memories at our school.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

Learners may choose to wear summer or winter uniform to school. Please note that a learner must wear their full summer or full winter uniform and that the winter and summer uniforms may therefore not be mixed.

PARTY PACKS

The decision has been made to allow party packs to be sent to school again. Please note that each item must be packaged individually.

CHANGES TO TEST DATES

Kindly click on the link below for the new test timetable. Some of the test dates have changed as a result of changes to the term dates.

PARENTS’ AFTERNOON

The Parents’ Afternoon will take place via zoom sessions on Monday, 19 April 2021. Appointments must be made on the Parent Portal. No emails will be accepted. The Parent Portal will be open from Thursday,
15 April from 16:00 until 19 April at 12:00. Therefore, no appointments can be made after 12:00 on Monday, 19 April.

Click on the Parent/Teacher Appointments tab
Select a teacher
Click on a time slot to book an appointment

You will receive a confirmation email for each appointment made which will include the zoom link for that particular appointment.

Grade 1 and 2 session 13:30 – 14:00
Grade 3 and 4 session 14:00 – 15:00
Grade 5, 6 and 7 session 15:00 – 16:00

STUDY METHOD

CHORAL VERSE

Choral Verse is an extramural activity which is open to everyone from Grade 1 to Grade 7. There is no audition process and everyone who wishes to participate is welcome.

Choral Verse 2021 will start on Wednesday, 28 April. Practices will take place at the following times:
15:00 – 15:30 Junior Choral Verse Grade 1 – 3 (Mrs Janse van Rensburgs’s classroom)
15:30 – 16:15 Senior Choral Verse Grade 4 – 7 (Hall)

Children not walking or riding their bicycles home, are please to be collected from Gate 3 after practices.

CROSS COUNTRY PRE-SEASON (TERM 2)

The AGN Cross Country club season starts this Saturday, 17 April. All learners are welcome to participate.

There is very important information regarding Term 2’s Cross Country races on the school’s website. Please read through it thoroughly.

THE UNIFORM SHOP

The Uniform Shop will be closed on 26 and 27 April 2021 but will be open on Satruday,1 May from 9:00 till 13:00.

EQUESTRIAN

Our riders competed in the first qualifier during the weekend of 27 and 28 March at Eaton Farm.    Congratulations to all these riders, we are so proud of you.

GRADE 8 ADMISSIONS 2022

Grade 8 admissions for 2022 will be open until Friday, 30 April 2021. If you would like your child to attend Midstream College, kindly note that you have to complete the application form online.
