It is wonderful to see our learners’ dedication, discipline, and perseverance to improve their skills continually. In this way they contribute to the success of the team or cultural group and they also experience the value of teamwork, the shared goals, the positive attitude during practice and competitions. Both the challenges and victories make them more determined to strive for excellence. The biggest compliment, however, is the positive comments about our learners’ behaviour on and off the stage or field.

Our cultural groups once again spoilt us with their impressive performances at the MC³ Concert, Centurion Arts Festival, Kaleidoscope and 8Beats competitions. Thank you for everyone’s dedication and passion during these performances.

Congratulations to our Senior Revue who were announced the WINNER of the 8 Beats competition last night.  We are tremendously proud of you all.

I would like to invite our learners who play a string instrument to join our String Orchestra. We need your expertise. Our conductor, Herman Steyn, is very passionate and being part of the String Orchestra will definitely be an incredible experience.

CENTURION ARTS FESTIVAL

Several of our cultural groups have already participated in the Centurion Arts Festival and delivered exceptional performances:

The Senior Choral Verse and Spreekkoor both achieved A++ and were also named category winners.
The Junior Revue, Senior Revue, Grace Ensemble and Isicathulo (gumboots) all received A++.
The Junior Choral Verse received an A+.

Congratulations to these cultural groups. We are very proud of each learner who contributed to this success.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

From Monday, 21 August, learners may choose to wear their summer uniform or winter uniform. Please note that a learner must wear their full summer uniform or their full winter uniform. Winter and summer uniforms may not be mixed.
