FROM THE OFFICE
“The end of a melody is not its goal: but nonetheless, had the melody not reached its end it would not have reached its goal either” We look back at this year with gratitude, a year that has overflowed with amazing opportunities, excitement, and indescribable successes. The time has also come to say goodbye to our Grade 7 learners. May your high school career be blessed and successful. We look forward to hearing about your experiences in the months and years to come.
We say farewell to the following staff members with a heavy heart: Mrs Joey von Abo and Mrs Brigitte Double leave us after 17 years to enjoy life as retirees. We appreciate the lasting impact they have made on Midstream College Primary School’s history. We salute them and wish them a blessed future.
As one career draws to an end, the next career starts. Midstream College Primary School would like to thank Mrs Carna Kriel for her wonderful contribution as Head of Department Mathematics. We wish her everything of the best in her new career.
Mr Dirk Smith will exchange Midstream College for life in the Netherlands. We will miss his positive, helpful, and child-friendly heart. May his cup overflow with happiness and prosperity. Our best wishes accompany him in the exciting journey and experiences that await him.
We say farewell to Ms Chandré Engelbrecht leaving us at the end of the year and wish her well and all the best with her plans for the future. We thank her for the input she made at the school.
We wish all our Midstream families a restful family time and a soul-enriching festive season. We wish you God’s richest blessings and prosperity.

MUSIC STUDIO
The past year has been a very successful year in the Music department, with winners in different categories at various competitions. We have talented, professional musicians offering music lessons. Students attend 30 lessons per year with the payment thereof divided into 4 instalments. The lessons are 30 minutes per week and the music lessons are attended at the Midstream College studios. Music lessons take place in school hours during non-academic periods such as: L.O., Music, and Art, as well as after school.
The department is in high demand and a limited amount of space is available for 2023. If you are interested in enrolling your child for lessons for 2023, please follow the following link for more information on the webpage.
